Katherine Greathouse is an associate attorney at Rios Immigration Defense, where she has been working since 2017. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and has been admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She has experience preparing applications for family-based visas, U visas, adjustment of status, naturalization, and waivers of inadmissibility. She also provides representation in immigration court.
Katherine spent 18 months as a missionary in Guatemala, where she became fluent in Spanish and developed a love of Latin American culture and people. In 2012 Katherine graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a BA in English teaching, a minor in mathematics, and a Spanish language certificate, and in 2015 she received her JD from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. During law school, Katherine focused her studies on immigration law and was an intern for the Salt Lake City Immigration Court.
Katherine is excited to be working in the Seattle area, where she grew up. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her many nieces and nephews.
